Listening

Sometimes you don't have to think, you just have to listen. The question is who are you listening to? Can you trust them?

Life seems to be series of choices; choices that make the composite of you. The composite of all the voices you decided to listen to. The people you loved and hated, it matters not since you gave them the attention of observation and feedback to keep them going, and to keep you going.

There are countless voices around us, wanting to be heard. Listening is what makes life a choice. If there is no one listening though, do you speak anyway? Would your own thoughts cease to exist in forms of language, or would it become a universal vibration? When all collapses into the voice which it came from, is that not God?

Expressing yourself is difficult, because language is critical to understanding. If the observer does not communicate in similar terms, the message will be lost, leaving confusion or suppressed for fear of confusion. If there is fear of suppression, there is no expression.

Expression is a double edged sword; both capable of hurting you and helping you. Listen carefully, for your life depends on it.
